Searchie

My promise to you is this: if I recommend it then you darn well know I'm using it. I've tested it out and love it. Right now my playtoy is a site called Searchie. Searchie allows my team to create searchable content and embed it into various areas of our online space. You can search all podcast episodes from the B-Word's homepage, or search for tutorials or masterclasses in the Podcast(H)er Network. Searchie also transcribes episodes which saves us both time and money on those services.

Rode Procaster

So far as a podcaster I've used 3 different mikes. The FIFINE, The BLUE YETI, and as of today I'm using the Rode Procaster. This last one is by far my favorite! It's a heavy and sturdy built microphone that sounds much more studio quality than the others. As long as I remember to turn on the Handy Zoom Recorder I run it through that is.
