How Are You, Really?

How Are You, Really?

What can I say?  When I get inspired, I get inspired!  I've read and listened to the audible version of Jenna Kutcher's book "How Are You, Really?" and it got me thinking......

How am I, Really?  The answer to that is complicated.  I believe this book came into my life at a point where I was feeling guilty about shifting my business from Real Estate to online coaching and mentorship, and then again into podcasting with enthusiasm.

Could I really stop talking about real estate and digital marketing and dive into where my heart is?  (In case you weren't clear my heart is in podcasting)

Could I really make a living helping other women do the same thing?

Who Are You, Really?

Call it a mid-life crisis, call it boredom, call it whatever you want but the truth is this: The biggest question I believe you should ask yourself is actually WHO are you, really?  And when I had a deep down gut-wrenching conversation with me the answer was clear.

I'm not the person I was 20 years ago.  Hell I'm not the person I was 20 months ago!  And it's ok to change.  I give myself (and you!) permission to evolve and change.  To walk fully into the next chapter of your life and not worry about the " can I do this?" but focus on the "How do I do this".

It's scary to change

What holds most of us back is fear.  The fear of the unknown, or the fear that the people around us just  won't get it.  They'll judge us for changing and not accept the journey we're on.  I know for me I've been afraid just in the last year that people will think I'm a whiplash of indecision with what I want to focus on.  That's OK.  Those people don't need my message and can move along to someone else.  And yes, that took alot of deep breaths to say.  Because making a jump into the unknown IS scary.  You know what?  DO IT SCARED AND DO IT ANYWAY.

Are you ready?  I am.  And I'm waiting on you to join me.
